Overview
PS is a luxury hospitality company that builds and operates private terminals for commercial flights. PS currently operates at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is developing new terminals at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport. PS offers privacy, security, and a premium private flight experience with line-free TSA screening and dedicated customs and immigration services. PS coordinates with government, security, and airline officials to ensure efficiency, safety, and privacy for guests. PS aims to be in every major airport in the US. The Role: Airline Affairs Manager (AAM), Based on-site at PS Terminal: MIA
This is a leadership role. Reports to the Managing Director, working in collaboration with each location under the guidance of the Head of Operational Design. Responsibilities & Expectations
Build and maintain relationships with airlines locally at MIA airport. Coordinate with local Airline Managers to agree service standards. Ensure close liaison and cooperation between PS Associates and airlines on all matters for effective daily operations. Create and update airline SOPs and records, working with Training and Compliance to ensure these are effectively trained and implemented. Attend regular airport/airline forums (e.g., MIA AVSEC, CBP Stakeholder). Conduct regular meetings with customer airlines for service feedback and improvements. Investigate complaints and resolve issues raised by airlines to provide closure and achieve service recovery. Work with airlines and PS Training and Compliance to identify and implement airline training needs for PS Associates. Ensure all departments are updated on new instructions and requirements for airlines. Maintain a daily inventory (stationery requirements) for each airline to avoid any last-minute shortages. Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial/leadership position within the airlines industry. Proven experience working in cross-organizational, multi-cultural teams. Sound working knowledge of PS and airlines’ operations. A driver of change and improvement. Proficient in verbal and written communications at all levels. Strong planning & organization skills.
