PS currently operates at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is developing new terminals at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport. This is a role for a dynamic, quick thinking, team-oriented person looking to advance to a leadership position in the PS MIA Operation. The Operations Supervisor will be on the floor, aiding in real-time feedback for other associates and assisting with customer service challenges. The Operations Supervisor will become proficient in the PS operation, working across all departments as they are an extension of the Operations Manager(s) on Duty. Responsibilities & Expectations
Supervise on the floor to ensure proper support for each day of operations. Enforce standards of service and operational SOPs. Partner with MODs to resolve EAST/customer service issues and conduct outreach. Continue to train new associates as needed (MA, OA, Host). Partner with MODs to resolve employee relations issues. Requirements
Experience as a Senior Operations Associate or Senior Member Associate required or Control Room Associate, and/or previous Supervisory experience required. Currently holding a Customs and Escort icon on SIDA badge preferred Prior supervisory/leadership experience desired. Able to take direction well and apply feedback. Executes current role and evolving standards with precision. Strong written and verbal aptitude to guide operational staff in a positive and effective manner. PS is a 24-hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operations departments, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts.
