Overview
The Program Assistant will assist staff in the daily execution of program tasks and projects, providing administrative support to the Program Manager and Program Coordinator. Responsibilities include maintaining office files, handling purchases and reimbursements, managing financial records, and supporting fundraising efforts and special projects aligned with program goals and mission. Base pay range
$37,232.00/yr - $62,046.40/yr Responsibilities
Administrative Support: maintain office files; complete purchase and reimbursement requests; manage financial records; produce quality reports under tight deadlines. Special Projects: assist with projects related to program goals and mission; may coordinate volunteer efforts. Data and Research: keep statistics regarding the program; maintain research databases in a manner that meets IRB requirements for protection of patient privacy; produce reports under tight deadlines. Teamwork: collaborate with co-workers on day-to-day tasks and responsibilities. Customer Service: provide excellent service to the clinical team, patient families, and referring physicians; help families navigate the hospital system and coordinate care; act as advocate for patients and families. Safety: promote safety for patients, families, visitors, and co-workers; speak up about unsafe behavior; verify information for decision making; communicate clearly and timely; self-check behavior and performance; respond to customer needs and follow up. Performance Improvement/Problem-solving: contribute to a positive work environment; demonstrate flexibility; identify opportunities to improve processes; make sound decisions. Cost Management/Financial Responsibility: use resources efficiently; seek less costly ways of operating. Qualifications
Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum Work Experience : 1 year performing administrative tasks (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge : Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Access); ability to produce quality reports under tight deadlines; ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a busy clinic environment; web design and desktop publishing skills a plus.
