The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full-time neuro-hospitalist to provide clinical neurology services. This hospital-based position involves inpatient neurology care at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and associated MHealth Fairview community hospitals. The role includes shared call coverage, teaching and supervising medical students and residents, and collaborating with neuroscience physicians and researchers. The appointment is on the Master Clinician Track, emphasizing teaching, quality improvement, and care model development. There is also an opportunity to develop and lead a neurohospitalist fellowship. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency program Board Certified or Board Prepared (American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association) Ability to obtain Minnesota medical licensure and DEA certification Meet credentialing and privileges requirements Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills Neurohospitalist fellowship training not required
