The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full-time neurologist for MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota Physicians/Fairview Health Services Partnership). The position highlights include a neuromuscular medicine-certified physician with a subspecialty interest in ALS research and care, and a role that includes leading neuromuscular clinical research as part of an established clinical and translational research program. Responsibilities

Provide outpatient neuromuscular services on the University campus and community clinics, including: ALS multidisciplinary clinic General neuromuscular clinic EMG Neuromuscular ultrasound Limited inpatient call coverage is expected Opportunity to supervise and train medical students, residents and fellows Collaborate with neuroscience physicians and researchers on clinical trials, biomarker development, and other academic activities Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the ABS or AOA Completion of a Neuromuscular Fellowship Program Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota medical licensure Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for Minnesota Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills Note: This position is not eligible for applicants requiring a J1 visa waiver Pay and Benefits

This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. The clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $218,757 - $344,326, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE. The salary from the University depends on academic effort.
