Accounting Manager
– Nonprofit/Independent School opportunity with Creative Financial Staffing (CFS).

Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning and reporting including GAAP-compliant statements and budget forecasting
Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, tuition receivables, and payroll journal entries
Support annual audit prep, tax compliance (1099s, 1095s), and financial modeling for tuition and compensation
Partner with HR for payroll, benefits, onboarding, PTO tracking, and 403(b) retirement administration
Collaborate on risk management, insurance renewals, and third-party financial reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master’s preferred
3+ years of progressive accounting experience (nonprofit or independent school ideal)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office; Veracross experience a plus
