Our Government & Public Sector-Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS) team is growing, and as a Senior Manager you will play a key role in that growth. You will work across Federal GPS sector service lines, develop strategic goals, and deliver an exceptional client experience by understanding client needs and tailoring recommendations. Your Key Responsibilities

Work on diverse projects; think on your feet and challenge existing practices to address complex issues. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines; build relationships and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from EY knowledge. Regular travel to meet with key clients, some of whom are leaders in their fields. Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with audit client personnel; assess client satisfaction and maintain contact throughout the year. Demonstrate an understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop people through delegation, guidance, training, and performance reviews for assurance staff. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment; use technology to learn and share knowledge to enhance service delivery. Skills And Attributes For Success

Ability to listen to clients and translate needs into actionable solutions. Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills; collaborative leadership style. Track record of mentoring and improving a high-performing team; dedication to teamwork and integrity. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to travel up to 25-30% or more in a hybrid environment, with work potentially at client, EY, or contractor sites. To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience with US GAAP within Federal context. U.S. CPA license in your work state. Excellent project management and communication/negotiation skills; collaborative management approach. A proven record of excellence in managing and mentoring a team of high-performing colleagues.
