Government and Public Sector - FAAS - Senior Manager at EY. The GPS-FAAS team is growing exponentially, and as a Senior Manager you'll play a key role in that growth. You will work across Federal GPS sector service lines and help clients by listening to and understanding their needs to deliver an exceptional experience in a field with no off-the-shelf answers. Our Government & Public Sector-Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS) team is growing exponentially, and as a Senior Manager you’ll help drive that growth. You’ll develop strategic goals, communicate them effectively, and collaborate with colleagues across service lines to create value for our clients. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with audit client personnel and proactively monitor client satisfaction throughout the year Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations Develop people by delegating audit tasks and providing guidance to assurance staff Provide performance feedback, training and performance reviews for assurance staff Contribute ideas to assurance teams and listen to other team members’ views Foster an efficient, innovative, team-oriented work environment Use technology to continually learn and share knowledge to enhance service delivery Develop an understanding of EY service lines and encourage team members to apply firm services where appropriate Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for clients to benefit from EY’s knowledge Qualifications

To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business with 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience within Federal US GAAP U.S. CPA license in your work state Excellent project management, communication and negotiation skills with a collaborative leadership approach A proven record of mentoring and improving a high-performing team Dedication to teamwork and integrity in a professional environment Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Willingness to travel approximately 25%–30% or more in a hybrid environment; work may be required at client, EY and/or contractor sites Ideally you’ll also have CGFM and/or CDFM What We Look For
