Financial Services Associate
The Financial Services Associate is responsible for the daily processing of financial commitments on behalf of the Department of Housing and Residence Life. This position frequently uses University systems (such as Banner, Concur, and SciQuest) in their daily tasks. This position reports to the Assistant Director for Business Operations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain a positive attitude. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed. Proficient computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines. Ability to arrive on time and work some evenings and weekends. Required Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2 years of secretarial or administrative experience. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. 3 years of accounts payable or receivable experience with financial reporting exposure. Experience working in a university environment. Compensation Information
