The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a
Welcome Liaison
to join the team. Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property has 750+ rooms, cottages and villas, 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets (including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining). The role supports guest arrival and departure experiences at the resort and reports to the Parking Manager. Shift:
Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this role is $18.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Responsibilities
Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor at all times and remain calm during periods of high guest activity. Report any damage or malfunctions of parking equipment to the supervisor or manager immediately. Advise the supervisor or manager when assistance is needed at parking areas of the resort. Deploy and store signage as required. Coordinate with other Welcome Liaisons to ensure a consistent rotation through assigned post locations. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hospitality or customer service related experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written). Ability to interact with internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy when needed. Ability to read English to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks, and to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists. Ability to stand, walk, or sit and perform essential job functions. Knowledge of local attractions and hotel facilities and services to provide clear directions. Company Values and Benefits
