SupplyOne is seeking a results-driven
Vice President of Sales – East Coast
to lead and scale sales operations across the Eastern U.S. Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, this role is responsible for creating a high-performance sales culture focused on corrugated packaging, program selling, and project-based growth. The VP will work closely with regional leadership and their sales team to increase market share, drive YOY revenue and gross profit growth, and build strong, long-term customer relationships. This is a field-based leadership role requiring approximately 75% travel, with a strong emphasis on customer engagement and team development. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Collaborate with the SVP of Sales and Region President to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals. Drive execution of corporate initiatives and region-specific plans to grow revenue and gross profit. Monitor market conditions and adapt strategies as needed to maintain competitiveness. Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent. Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with sales reps to review performance and drive accountability. Schedule and participate in joint customer visits to model and reinforce effective sales behaviors. Ensure each rep maintains a strong pipeline aligned with program and mix objectives.
Performance & Revenue Management
Set and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and margin goals. Lead efforts to achieve program and product mix targets. Utilize pricing strategy tools (cost analysis, GP$/UOM, customer needs) to make informed decisions that protect and grow margins. Cultivate relationships with key accounts and ensure regular engagement with major customers. Champion SupplyOne’s value proposition and integrated manufacturing, distribution, and service platform. Coordinate supplier training and facilitate joint selling opportunities.
Operational Collaboration
Work closely with accounting to manage credit controls. Support product knowledge development and supplier collaboration across the team. Adjust personnel, inventory, and product mix as needed based on market dynamics.
Key Qualifications
Proven track record of leading high-performing B2B sales teams in the packaging industry, ideally with corrugated or distribution experience. Demonstrated ability to drive YOY growth, increase market share, and improve gross profit margins. Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience building teams from the ground up. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Field-based leadership experience with willingness to travel approximately 75%. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
