About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, family-owned construction firm specializing in a variety of sectors, including high-tech industrial and manufacturing. With a commitment to safety, integrity, and confidentiality, we have been a trusted partner in delivering complex projects across multiple states for nearly a century. We are seeking a highly experienced Building Division Project Manager with 10-15 years in construction project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects exceeding $10 million, particularly within confidential high-tech sectors such as healthcare, clean rooms, and labs. This position will report directly to the Head of the Building Division and will play a critical role in our ongoing growth initiatives.
Job Description The Director of Safety - GC 100+ years in business will be responsible for:
Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and protocols.
Conduct safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety regulations are observed at all construction sites.
Prepare and present safety reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Investigate incidents and accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
Develop policies to ensure the safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors at all company-related facilities.
Stay updated on current and emerging trends, laws and regulations in the safety and health field.

The Successful Applicant The Director of Safety - GC 100+ years in business should have:
A degree in occupational health, safety, or a related field
12+ years of safety experience
Experience implimenting safety protocols on projects larger than $15M
Experience in developing and implementing safety programs and strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques, and methods.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
A strong commitment to promoting a safety culture within the organization.
