About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished Sr. Enterprise Account Executive to join our Enterprise/Field Sales team. In this expert-level role, you will drive Cloudflare's most strategic customer engagements, leading the charge in securing and expanding critical platform sales within focused accounts. The ideal candidate possesses sales leadership, a deep understanding of enterprise architecture across business, data, applications, and technology, and the ability to articulate how Cloudflare integrates into modern cloud operating models. As a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive, you will demonstrate high-level sales proficiency, ensure accurate forecasting, strategic pipeline management, and consistently exceed targets. You will educate customers and partners on Cloudflare’s product ecosystem and its place in the security landscape. You will apply executive sponsorship programs, engage with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs, and lead virtual teams to navigate and close complex opportunities. You will shape customers’ digital transformation journeys and position Cloudflare as their strategic partner. What You'll Do

Executive-Level Strategic Revenue Leadership: Own and execute the most critical territory and account plans, consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets and quotas by closing large-scale platform sales within focused accounts. Precision Forecasting & Pipeline Mastery: Forecast with accuracy and manage proactive pipeline; provide strategic guidance to shape the sales organization. Enterprise Architecture & Business Model Expertise: Understand enterprise architecture across all four pillars and map Cloudflare solutions to customer business models and modern cloud operating models. C-Suite Engagement & Executive Sponsorship: Lead complex engagements with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs; manage executive sponsorship programs. Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Lead virtual teams (Product Managers, VPs, SVPs) to close strategic opportunities and resolve roadblocks. Digital Transformation Visionary: Advocate for digital transformation and identify Cloudflare opportunities within market trends. Organizational Communication & Feedback: Communicate clearly across departments; review performance and provide constructive feedback. Long-Term Strategic Impact: Articulate long-term impacts of decisions and model Cloudflare’s standards. Define Goals & Drive Efficiency: Define quarterly goals and metrics; understand interdependencies and remove roadblocks for efficiency. Company-Wide Innovation & Problem Solving: Proactively address needs and drive innovative change across the organization. 10+ years of expert-level experience selling complex, multi-million dollar technology solutions in a B2B enterprise model with a track record of quota attainment. In-depth knowledge of Cloudflare’s product suite and the security landscape; ability to educate customers and partners at a high level. Mastery of Customer Enterprise Architecture (Business, Data, Applications, Technology) and mapping to modern cloud operating environments. Proven ability to apply and manage executive sponsorship programs, engaging CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs. Experience leading virtual teams (VPs/SVPs) to close strategic opportunities. Strategic thinker with deep understanding of digital transformation and market trends. Exceptional strategic communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at executive levels. Long-term thinker who balances short-term results with long-term value for Cloudflare. Ability to define team goals and metrics, drive cross-department efficiency, and remove roadblocks. Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau, G Suite, MS Office, MEDDPICC, etc. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Ability to travel extensively as required. Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. Estimated annual salary: $320,000-$350,000 (base/variable). This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
