Billing Coordinator
Are you a seasoned Billing Coordinator ready for a new challenge at one of New Jersey’s oldest and most prestigious law firms? For 140 years, our client has provided superior legal services, and they are now seeking a talented and motivated Billing Coordinator to join their dynamic finance team in Madison, NJ. In this role, you will be a crucial part of the firm's billing function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while collaborating closely with esteemed attorneys, partners, and legal staff. Responsibilities
Manage the complete billing cycle for assigned Partners.
Coordinate the new client and matter intake process.
Generate, edit, and distribute monthly pre-bills for review.
Finalize and distribute client invoices accurately and on schedule.
Submit e-bills through various electronic billing platforms and diligently manage the process.
Address and resolve any billing appeals or rejections promptly.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on invoices with open balances.
Serve as a key point of contact for billing inquiries, coordinating with attorneys, partners, and legal support staff.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of billing experience within a law firm is required.
Previous experience using
SurePoint
software is highly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is helpful.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
A college degree is required.

The anticipated salary range for this position is
$55,000 - $70,000 . The final salary will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, and other factors.
