About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our executive leadership team. As CMO, you will play a pivotal role in leading clinical initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, and overall satisfaction for both patients and physicians. You will manage costs effectively while enhancing care coordination across the organization.
The ideal candidate should be a physician executive with extensive experience in quality and safety and a track record of influential leadership in an acute care setting. Key responsibilities include fostering strong physician relations, enhancing medical staff communications, and ensuring clinical perspectives inform strategic planning.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of clinical experience, including at least 7 years in a leadership capacity. A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine is required. Candidates who possess the ability to inspire others, drive clinical excellence, and build a high-performing management team are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to integrity and respect are essential.
Additionally, candidates should have a background in statistical analysis, clinical epidemiology, and best practices, with the capability to leverage data for accountability. Certification as a Physician Executive (CPE) or equivalent leadership qualifications is preferred.
