Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist, a vital role in ensuring the success of our retail stores. You will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide thorough answers to inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your primary goal will be to swiftly address any customer concerns, ensuring their utmost satisfaction while staying informed about product features and maintaining our high standards of product quality and store presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service
Interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone to assess their needs and recommend suitable products
Building trusting relationships with wholesale and retail clients
Processing sales transactions accurately while adhering to company policies and procedures
Aiming to achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas
Selecting products from the sales floor or warehouse
Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications
Arranging and organizing store displays and stocking shelves
Cleaning store equipment and maintaining presentation standards
Loading and unloading delivery trucks
Assisting with deliveries as needed
Keeping assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing
Staying knowledgeable about all products offered and discussing available options
Complying with inventory control protocols
Proposing strategies to enhance sales performance
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must have legal authorization to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
Must be able to lift and carry materials, up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
If currently employed at Sherwin-Williams, a performance rating of at least meets expectations (3) on your most recent appraisal is required
Completion of all required HR eLearning courses is necessary for internal candidates
Preferred Qualifications:
A High School diploma or GED
At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
Prior experience selling paint and related products
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
Ability to communicate in more than one language
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Spanish
Selected candidates will work at Store #1947 located at 2080 Western Ave. (Hamilton Square) Guilderland, NY 12084 and may occasionally work at other stores within a 30 mile radius.
