Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,726 per week in Beckley, WV

Job Title: Physical Therapist - Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of adult home health experience License: Must have a valid license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Reliable transportation - Current driver's license - Agency-required liability insurance - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR Description: This position involves providing home health physical therapy services. Home visits will be conducted to assess and treat patients in their homes. Periodic office meetings are required. The contractor will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day. The average number of patients per day is 5 to 6. The contractor is expected to achieve approximately 30 productivity points per week. Different activities such as documentation and travel hold various point values. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned base. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The first and last commute to patients is not billable. Weekend requirements vary based on location and profession and will be discussed during the interview. This position does not allow for guaranteed hours. If patient census is low, contractors should consult with management about opportunities to pick up extra hours. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient visits. All patients on the schedule must be accepted, regardless of distance between appointments. No first-timers are accepted; previous home health experience is required. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Candidates must be open to the potential for on-call rotations.
