Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,440 per week in Ashland, KY

Periodic office meetings are required. Reliable transportation is necessary. A current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance are mandatory. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, translating to roughly 6-8 points. Guaranteed hours are not provided. In cases of low patient census, contractors may discuss opportunities to float to nearby clinics for hours. Types of cases include start of care and follow-ups. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession and should be discussed during the interview. On-call requirements vary by job and location. Travel may be required up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor is compensated for travel between patient homes. Commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted. Pending license is not accepted unless it will take a few days to obtain. Candidates must confirm understanding of home health responsibilities including driving to patient homes and clinic meetings. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each patient appointment. There are no guaranteed hours for the contract, and clinicians must meet weekly productivity points of 30 which equates to approximately 40 hours per week. All travelers must be proficient in the required EMR systems and recent experience is necessary.
