Responsibilities

Manage and lead in a multiunit capacity (as applicable).

Provide and model best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and courteously, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, and promote loyalty programs.

Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that drive sales and repeat business.

Process guest purchases and returns using the POS system, ensuring accurate transactions and top-notch guest service.

Respond to guest inquiries in person or by phone and maintain professional phone etiquette.

Promote GameStop guest benefits (e.g., title reservations, trade-ins, Pro Rewards).

Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.

Ensure associates complete onboarding, job training, and compliance training prior to working shifts; reinforce knowledge of policies, inventory, loss prevention, safety, and ethics.

Communicate with store teams and District Manager to implement initiatives; supervise and delegate tasks to sales staff and store leadership.

Schedule and manage staffing to maintain excellent guest service; approve payroll and manage timekeeping.

Provide recognition and feedback; document performance in the appropriate HR system.

Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandise presentation per guidelines; ensure equipment is functional.

Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily and manage inventory counts and restocking.

Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention practices; conduct closing checks as needed.

Lead the store team to meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete required admin and operational duties.

Reconcile daily transactions, manage cash deposits, and ensure accurate closeout paperwork.

Verify shipments, conduct inventories, and report discrepancies to District Manager.

Process defectives/recalls and ensure proper labeling and packing lists.

Maintain safety and address hazardous situations; report injuries per guidelines.

Maintain organized documents and ensure manuals are up to date.

Uphold professional partnerships where applicable (e.g., on military bases).

Adhere to GameStop policies and the Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct.

Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate\'s or bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.

At least 1 year of retail management experience required; 3 years of retail sales/leadership experience preferred.

Video game knowledge preferred.

Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Full-time positions eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance; eligibility for bonuses and other incentives where applicable.

Compensation $16.00 - $24.00
