Working with minimal supervision, support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized and complete solutions for every guest and providing outstanding guest service experiences through professional conduct and shared passion for gaming. Ensure products are easy to see and buy, build sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge with guests, provide a clean and organized environment, and grow guest loyalty and repeat business. Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns quickly and courteously, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop. Support the visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system, including handling changes, providing receipts, and ensuring top-notch guest service. Respond to guest comments or questions, escalate issues to the Store Manager as appropriate. Promote GameStop\'s guest benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-in, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Observe associate performance and provide feedback; address unsatisfactory performance as directed. Coordinate onboarding, job training, and compliance training for associates prior to opening or closing shifts; ensure knowledge of policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Schedule store associates to meet guidelines, supervise staffing for optimal guest service, and ensure adherence to scheduling requirements. Approve payroll, manage paid time off, and verify time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, merchandising, and ensure fixtures and equipment function properly. Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; conduct safety checks and report concerns to the Store Manager. Support meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Manage inventory counts, restocking, and product placement to keep items represented and organized. Balance daily transactions and complete closeout paperwork; manage cash/deposits as required. Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct counts and communicate findings to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls promptly with accurate labeling and packing lists. Maintain awareness of associate and guest safety and report injuries per guidelines. Maintain store records/files; ensure manuals are up to date. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and open/close procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate\'s or bachelor\'s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred; at least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Outgoing and welcoming personality with strong people skills. Provide genuine and individualized assistance to every guest during every visit. Clear verbal and written communication and listening skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team. Adherence to attendance, personal appearance, safety, and respectful workplace standards. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete required paperwork accurately and follow written or diagrammed instructions. Flexible schedule with extended hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to work alone or move around the store for extended periods; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform related tasks.
