Overview Senior Product Marketing Manager role within the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. Drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution. Partner with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute Go-to-Market plans with high-impact assets and field enablement.

Your Day-to-Day

Positioning and Messaging: be the expert on buyers, their buying criteria, and how they purchase. Develop messaging aligned with market and competitive trends and emphasize differentiators and business value.

Content Creation: craft compelling messaging and content (webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.) that highlight differentiated business value.

Presentation and Thought Leadership: present to internal and external audiences, including sales training, customer briefings, webinars, industry events, and analyst briefings.

Domain Expert: research market trends and competitive landscape; translate insights into actionable guidance for sales, customer success, marketing, and product teams.

Launch Execution: lead cross-functional launches of new capabilities and releases to drive demand and market awareness.

Sales Enablement: create enablement content and tools to help sellers articulate our competitive value.

Dynamic Collaboration: collaborate with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales to align on release benefits and business goals.

Customer Advocacy: leverage customer stories and testimonials to reinforce messaging and demonstrate impact.

What You Bring To The Team

8+ years in product marketing; experience in email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT is preferred.

BS/BA in business or technical field; MBA a plus.

Proven ability to market to enterprise and technical buyers with concise messaging.

Strong content creation skills with ability to research, write, and edit high-quality materials.

Strategic Go-to-Market thinking and the ability to translate market knowledge into actionable plans.

Analytical, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Leadership and collaboration skills to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

Ability to articulate value propositions at product and solution levels; strong storytelling and public speaking skills.

High energy and adaptability; travel 10-15% expected, with willingness to travel to events and international locations.

This role can be in a Proofpoint office, hybrid, or remote.
