What you will do: Build and enhance our proven security platform; Blend innovation and speed in a constantly evolving cloud environment; Analyze new threats and offer data-driven insights; Collaborate with customers to solve their toughest security challenges. Role summary: We’re looking for a strong, talented Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. You will drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution and partner with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute GTM plans and create high-impact assets to enable the field. What You Bring to the Team: 8+ years of experience in product marketing (email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT preferred); BS/BA required (MBA a plus); proven experience marketing to enterprise businesses and technical buyers; strong content creation and storytelling skills; willingness to travel 10-15%. Role location: This role can be in a Proofpoint office, hybrid, or remote. Your Day-to-Day

Positioning and Messaging: Be the expert on our buyers—who they are, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Develop messaging that differentiates Proofpoint and communicates business value to target audiences. Content Creation: Produce messaging and content (webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.) that highlight differentiated business value. Presentation and Thought Leadership: Present to internal and external audiences; serve as the primary thought leader for the supported solutions. Domain Expertise: Research market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape; translate insights for sales, customer success, corporate marketing, and product management. Launch Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and launches of new capabilities; support updates to drive demand and awareness. Sales Enablement: Create enablement content and tools to help sellers communicate our value. Dynamic Collaboration: Align with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales to achieve business goals. Customer Advocacy: Leverage customer stories to strengthen positioning and messaging. What You Bring To The Team

8+ years in product marketing; experience in email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT preferred. BS/BA required; MBA a plus. Proven ability to market to enterprise and technical buyers; strong ability to craft concise messaging. Strong content creation, editing, and storytelling skills; able to translate technical concepts to business value. Analytical mindset; able to manage multiple priorities independently. Leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire a team. Excellent written and verbal communication; strong public speaking skills. High energy, with willingness to travel 10-15%.
