Job Summary As a

Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) , you will be the face of the company to patients visiting for both routine healthcare screenings and life-critical diagnostic testing. This role requires strong

phlebotomy expertise , excellent

customer service , and the ability to create trust and comfort for patients while collecting and processing specimens.

Key Responsibilities

Collect quality blood specimens, including pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy Prepare, process, and maintain specimens for laboratory testing Ensure accurate and timely completion of required records and documentation Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients during collection procedures Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collections confidently and professionally Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming patient service environment Support daily operations under supervision to ensure accuracy and timeliness Flexibility to cover weekends, holidays, on-call, or overtime shifts as needed Required Experience

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service environment Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred) Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, WA -

not required in TX ) Nice-to-Have Experience

1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred Experience with diverse patient populations Required Skills Phlebotomy techniques Specimen collection & processing Customer service Data entry accuracy

Preferred Skills Healthcare compliance knowledge Clinical documentation Patient communication skills
