Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Medical Assistant supporting multiple specialties. This role involves assisting healthcare providers by performing patient care duties within the scope of practice to ensure efficient, high-quality care and positive patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform patient care tasks accurately and timely, following provider orders. - Facilitate patient flow and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members. - Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation. - Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal guidelines. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records. - Coordinate referrals and manage exam room supplies and medication samples. - Uphold infection control standards and maintain a clean clinical environment.
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.
Licenses and Certifications: - Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
Skills and Abilities: - Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. - Proficiency with technology including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate effectively.
