Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as a Medical Assistant, providing essential support to healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient experience. This part-time PRN role involves performing patient care duties within the scope of medical assistant licensure, assisting with treatments and procedures, and facilitating clinic operations to optimize patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient care tasks accurately and timely, following providers' orders. Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation. Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records. Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with referral coordinators. Manage exam room supplies, medication samples, and maintain cleanliness and infection control standards. Support teamwork, adapt to changes, and contribute positively to the work environment. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an approved certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of medical assistant duties and scope of practice. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and perform independent judgment tasks. Commitment to providing excellent patient care and fostering positive relationships with providers and patients.
