Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient care experience. This position involves performing patient care duties within the scope of medical assistant licensure, assisting with treatments and procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Job Responsibilities

Perform patient care tasks as directed by providers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders. Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient experience, communicating wait times effectively. Assist with treatments and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and ensuring proper consent is obtained. Notify patients of test results as directed by providers and document presenting complaints and vital signs. Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and manage referral processes efficiently. Conduct daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and ensure infection control practices are followed. Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment. Participate in special projects and support team activities to foster a positive work environment. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and perform independent judgment in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and ongoing professional development.
