Job Summary
The
Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
serves as the trusted face of the organization for patients visiting for routine health assessments or essential diagnostic testing. This role ensures the
safe and accurate collection
of blood specimens, prepares samples for lab analysis, and maintains a professional environment. A successful PSR I is committed to
patient trust, confidentiality , and procedural precision.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily collection and processing tasks as directed by supervisor Ensure a
safe and professional
working environment Collect clinical and forensic specimens following protocol Maintain accurate records and documentation Positively represent the organization to patients, clients, and staff Handle patient data with confidentiality and accuracy Required Experience
Minimum
6 months phlebotomy
experience Strong keyboard and data entry skills Background in
customer service , especially in retail or clinical environments Nice-to-Have Experience
More than one year of phlebotomy experience Prior service in fast-paced, high-volume roles Required Skills
Excellent phlebotomy technique across age groups Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Capacity to deliver
error-free work
in fast-paced settings Preferred Skills
Medical assistant or paramedic training Phlebotomy certification (mandatory in CA, NV, WA) Additional Skills
Availability for
weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime Professional communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and confidentiality Benefits
