Certified Payroll Specialist – Contract (Potential Temp-to-Hire) Location:

Anaheim, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Mondays & Wednesdays, Remote Other Days)

Pay Rate:

$35–$40/hr (DOE) Schedule:

Full-Time | Urgent Need Vaco is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable manufacturing company in Anaheim, for a Certified Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an

urgent contract opportunity

with strong potential for

temp-to-hire . Our client is seeking a

2 Specialist to support a

certified payroll backlog

and

one specialist

to assist with

weekly payroll processing . Key Responsibilities:

Process certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage requirements

Ensure accuracy of timekeeping, wage rates, classifications, and job codes for compliance

Handle weekly payroll processing using

ADP Workforce Now (WFN)

Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for audits and reporting

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payroll discrepancies

Help bring backlog of certified payroll reporting up to date

Requirements:

Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage experience is REQUIRED

Experience processing payroll in a

manufacturing environment

highly preferred

Strong proficiency with

ADP Workforce Now (WFN)

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Degree not required
