Responsibilities

• Run registers and support members through the self-checkout experience
• Provide friendly, attentive service to members; greet, assist, and thank them
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently; scan items, process payments, and assist with various membership types
• Assist with locating merchandise, answering questions, and resolving member issues
• Promote company products and services and guide members on self-service options
• Uphold safety and security by following company policies and procedures

What you will do

• Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies; conduct safety sweeps and follow hazardous materials handling procedures
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and transactions using registers and self-checkout
• Follow Open Door Policy and apply ethics and integrity in daily business processes
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; manage priorities and deadlines

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail experience, including operating front-end equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while prioritizing member satisfaction
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist members quickly and accurately
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change
