Overview
Job Title: Senior Director, Salesforce Retail Industry Lead. Slalom is seeking a senior industry leader responsible for the vision, strategy, prioritization, and client offerings for the Retail & Consumer Goods practice, including sub-sectors such as alcohol and beverage, household goods, beauty, apparel, and personal care. You will negotiate complex Salesforce deals, nurture relationships within Slalom and Salesforce, and lead delivery of Retail & Consumer Goods Salesforce solutions globally. You should be recognized as a strategic thought leader with the ability to build high-performing teams and provide industry-specific solution expertise leveraging extensive client experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. What You’ll Do
Accountability for the Retail & Consumer Goods industry practice, including establishing our point of view and strategic growth approach. Responsible for delivery quality, sales, recruiting, consulting, and all operational aspects. Drive overall growth of the Salesforce Retail & Consumer Goods practice through business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership. Maximize team performance by fostering a collaborative environment that increases productivity and job satisfaction. Manage engagement risk for Retail & Consumer Goods projects, including project economics, planning and budgeting for industry cloud engagements, defining deliverables, and securing buy-in from client senior management. Ensure the practice achieves utilization targets; leverage executive leadership and subject matter expertise. Oversee profitability and revenue targets for the Salesforce Retail & Consumer Goods practice, including direct-influenced sales. Identify, create, and drive development of Salesforce offerings related to Retail & Consumer Goods to accelerate revenue and pipeline growth. Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Retail & Consumer Goods projects through best practices and practice leadership. Drive business development with appropriate information, tools, and SME input, partnering with industry sellers. Build and develop relationships with local market teams and align on sales pursuits, resource capacity, and awareness across global markets. Develop relationships with Salesforce executives and field sales teams; own account planning and key pursuits. Develop and support case studies and industry-specific content. Collaborate with industry leaders to scale opportunities, grow teams, and support markets. What You’ll Bring
10+ years of Retail & Consumer Goods services expertise and team leadership experience in a large consulting environment. Knowledge of Salesforce products in the RCG space, including Commerce, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Data Cloud. Experience in sales, account management, delivery, and consulting; passion for Retail & Consumer Goods and technology. Strong relationships with Salesforce and/or Retail & Consumer Goods clients. Ability to partner with clients to understand organizational needs and recommend value-added solutions. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; adept at aligning teams to a common goal with strong people management. Budget and project management experience; strong coaching and mentoring in a sales leadership capacity. Excellent collaboration and team-building skills; process-oriented with ability to work with virtual teams. Experience building relationships with CXOs and business decision makers; skilled at leading teams through complex technology solution sales. Creative, innovative, and visionary in approach; strong verbal and written communication and business operations skills. Able to travel up to 50% if needed. About Us

The base salary range for this role is: Director: $161,000–$281,000; Senior Director: $189,000–$359,000, with potential discretionary bonus.
