Overview
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Software Associate Degree Programmer in various locations. This role supports the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The work involves collaborating with experienced engineers to enable NASA deep-space exploration and support to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Responsibilities
Support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions: requirements analysis, OO analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. Collaborate with experienced engineers to create solutions enabling NASA deep-space exploration and U.S. Intelligence Community support. Assist with final systems hardware and software integration and testing; generate required documents for spacecraft delivery; complete coding and unit-level testing. Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline. Aspiring to pursue a Bachelor Degree. Must be a US Citizen; position located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain security clearance. Desired Skills
Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets; familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++). Classroom knowledge of embedded software/hardware, networks, SQL/NoSQL, Information Security Domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Security and Clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position varies by location. In California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC, ranges are specified; other states reflect the final work location. Salary information is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions.
