Loss Mitigation Specialist - Bilingual role at Selene Finance LP. This is an in-office position with a portfolio of non-performing assets to contact, negotiate and complete loss mitigation alternatives to minimize foreclosure losses. The role may handle specialty functions within the SPOC department such as liquidation outcomes, bankruptcy customers, and high value customers. The candidate must be bilingual in English/Spanish. Schedule is 11a-8p Monday – Thursday; 8a-5p Fridays; 1 Saturday per month 8a-12 (Overtime/No Flex Fridays). Training will be Monday-Friday 8a-5p CST. The Loss Mitigation Specialist acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for a portfolio of loans and works to minimize foreclosure losses through loss mitigation options. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contributes to the department by understanding success measurements and how they impact those metrics. Meets monthly individual and team goals and key performance indicators. Manages a portfolio of mortgage products that are 90+ days delinquent or have loss mitigation requests; uses loss mitigation options to minimize foreclosure losses. Portfolios may include non-traditional workouts such as Short Sales and Deeds-in-Lieu, including high-risk customer types. Receives inbound calls and makes outbound calls to customers, attorneys, realtors and other authorized parties; educates them on options to resolve delinquencies. Discusses customers’ requirements for loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu, cash for keys, and related loss mitigation options. Analyzes financial situations to recommend and initiate the appropriate loss mitigation tools for each borrower. Performs light skip-tracing activities. Reviews title searches to ensure no title issues threaten the investor’s lien. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures; updates daily reports and accounts. This is not a work-from-home opportunity. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred. Two to four years of related experience; GSE loss mitigation experience preferred, with emphasis on FHLMC and FNMA losses. Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Sagent experience preferred. Benefits
