Acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and manages a portfolio of non-performing assets to contact, negotiate, and complete loss mitigation alternatives to minimize foreclosure losses. Handles a portfolio of mortgage products that are 90+ days delinquent or have requested loss mitigation, following investor, departmental, and legal guidelines; aims to minimize losses due to foreclosure through loss mitigation options. Receives inbound calls and makes outbound calls to customers, attorneys, realtors, and other parties to educate them on available options to resolve delinquencies. Discusses customers’ general requirements for loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu, cash for keys, and consents to judgments or other loss mitigation options. Analyzes financial situations and recommends the proper loss mitigation tools for each borrower. Conducts light skip-tracing activities and reviews title searches to ensure no title issues threaten the investor’s lien. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and updates daily reports and accounts. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. An Associate’s degree is preferred. Two to four years of related experience and/or training. GSE loss mitigation experience with emphasis on FHLMC and FNMA loss mitigation is preferred. Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Ability
Language: ability to read, write simple correspondence, and present information clearly. Mathematical: ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret simple graphs. Reasoning: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems with a few variables. Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Fiserv is preferred. Job Details
