Overview

Administrative Assistant 3 (PCN 027011) – State of Alaska. This position is with the Alaska Pioneer Homes – Central Office, supporting multiple Pioneer Homes in six cities and a Pharmacy. This job class is part of the ASEA General Government Union. The starting wage is $29.93 per hour (Range 15). Responsibilities

Perform a variety of administrative support tasks in support of the division; track personnel and payroll; maintain, develop and share report information and administrative paperwork. Provide centralized administrative services in support of six Pioneer Homes and the Central Office. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications include one of the following: One year of journey-level technical duties in administrative areas such as human resources, accounting, administration, or procurement; or Two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year); or Two years of entry-level technical experience in administrative areas; or Two years of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or entry-level technical experience in administrative areas. Special Note: Examples of journey-level and entry-level duties include tasks related to timesheet calculations, account reconciliation, purchasing, and related reporting and documentation.
