Overview
Crisis Hotline Phone Counselor (Part-Time) at Sante Group Companies. This role is in-person at our Timonium, MD office and offers a base pay range of $24.00/hr - $26.50/hr. What You’ll Do
Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, information and referrals, and intake screening for callers to the local hotline and the GBRICS call center serving four counties. Deescalate crises over the phone, build rapport, and maintain professionalism and objectivity. Triages calls to appropriate levels of care, conducts lethality and environmental safety assessments, and dispatches resources as needed. Access bed registries and community resources to connect callers to services; communicate needs to internal teams and supervisors as appropriate. Document all information accurately and timely in client records; participate in required trainings; and comply with confidentiality and reporting regulations. Develop crisis plans and follow-up tasks based on the severity of symptoms; participate in ongoing program development and inter-agency referrals. What We Require
Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; professional crisis work experience may substitute for the education requirement. What You’ll Get
Pay Range: $24.00 to $26.50 per hour based on experience. Available shifts: Day (8am–4pm or 10am–6pm), Evening (4pm–12am), or Overnight (12am–8am).
