Responsibilities
Travel seasonally to sell frontlist titles in person and maximize opportunities with various accounts
Continuously promote and support backlist sales through creative sales strategies
Create and share custom Edelweiss collections and markups to enhance sales efforts
Handle account inquiries and provide exceptional customer support to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with client publishers and represent the employer at trade shows and conferences
Qualifications
Minimum educational requirement: College or university degree in a related field
2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
Strong understanding of the book retail sector, including market trends and distribution channels
Proficiency with Edelweiss and Microsoft Outlook programs, Teams, and Zoom
Valid driver\'s license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Independent bookstore experience
Proven ability to cultivate and develop positive business relationships
Advanced organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting books and conveying information effectively
