Description
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk), Tier 2, and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem diagnosis and resolution. Communicates status updates to agency management and internal customers. Supports dispatch system and hardware issues. Configures and manages UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, installs software, troubleshoots, maintains system integrity, and optimizes network components for reliability and performance.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Managing daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for problem identification and resolution.
Assisting users with accessing and utilizing IT systems.
Account management activities such as creating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
Ensuring system security compliance through configuration management and security controls.
Performing vulnerability scans and applying security patches.
Supporting system operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across devices.
Communicating status updates to management and customers.
Optimizing system performance and capacity planning.
Providing in-depth troubleshooting and analysis for escalated issues.
Supporting hardware and system configuration, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows OS.
Coordinating with ISSO and ISO regarding system changes and security processes.
Ensuring compliance with ICAM policies and completing POA&M milestones.
Supporting system design, architecture, and hardware integration.
Analyzing and resolving complex hardware, application, and software issues.
Requirements
Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Fifteen years' experience as a System Administrator in similar programs.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and CE certification (Microsoft OS, CentOS/Red Hat OS).
Six years of Service Management (ITSM) experience.
ITIL 4 certification.
Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, and related technologies if assigned to Directory Services TTOs.
Understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and VDI concepts if assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs.
