Overview

Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Refrigeration (Sporlan) for Parker Hannifin. Remote location acceptable in the Central US or possibly the Eastern US. Responsible for domestic sales with potential future expansion to Canada; directs territory managers, sales representatives, and distributors to maintain and grow sales volume and margin; supports the Corporate Win Strategy. Responsibilities

Oversee the domestic sales team and future Canada territory for the Industrial Refrigeration Business Unit. Direct territory managers, sales representatives, and distributors to maintain/increase sales volume and margin with existing and new accounts. Motivate and provide ongoing direction to staff responsible for regional sales goals and plans. Secure and maintain regional distribution of Parker products and manage relevant agreements. Drive strategic account development within the region and support cross-divisional and group products with proper referrals. Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy and represent the company at trade shows and professional events. Ensure achievement of sales goals within the region; coach staff to develop and maintain strong client relationships; manage key accounts and distributors. Gather, interpret, and disseminate market data; implement strategies to recognize new revenue and margin opportunities; monitor competitive activity and report to management. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products and ensure staff training and development. Collaborate with groups and divisions on strategic planning to provide required products and services. Lead staffing, training, development, and motivation of personnel; provide proactive interaction with divisional management and support departments to meet customer service expectations. Qualifications

College degree with 6–10+ years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration direct sales and/or industrial/distributor sales, or an appropriate combination of education and experience. Ability to staff, train, develop, coach, and motivate staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; advanced PC skills. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. 50%–70% overnight travel, or as required. Appropriate product knowledge and system certification preferred. Proven ability to motivate and sustain sales growth in the territory; ability to sell cross-group; track record of exceeding targets. Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $97,600 to $162,750 annually (varies by experience, qualifications, and market conditions). Participation in Sales Incentive Plan.
