About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced
Accounts Payable Manager
to lead the AP operations for one of the area\'s top employers. Applicants should have exposure to working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is pivotal to the finance team and reports directly to the Controller. You’ll oversee a team of 8-10 AP professionals, driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all payables functions. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 10 AP Specialists. Oversee full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor management. Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and reduce errors. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies. Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely payments. Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies. Support month-end, prepare reports and metrics for the Controller and senior leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven success managing teams in high-volume environments. Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle AP. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in robust ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Why Join?
