What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute strategic vision and direction for the Benefits and Underwriting businesses, achieving growth targets and profitability
Spearhead expansion initiatives and identify new market segments and product opportunities
Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory changes to formulate actionable strategies
Cultivate a results-oriented culture, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and represent the employer's interests in industry discussions
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 7+ years of work experience in Commercial Insurance coverages and Employee Benefit Sales
Bachelor’s degree required
Required state A&H and/or benefits licenses
Proven ability to achieve annual budgeted growth and retention targets
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor strategies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in leading teams and driving organizational change
Familiarity with innovative insurance products and distribution channels
Established relationships with brokers and general agents (MGA)
Previous involvement in industry discussions and initiatives
Strong communication and negotiation skills
