In this pivotal role, you’ll lead growth initiatives across key OEM accounts and aftermarket distributors, while actively uncovering new business opportunities in the industrial space to exceed revenue and material margin targets. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping Garrett’s aftermarket strategy in North America—partnering with the NA Sales Director, global stakeholders, and a diverse network of external partners. Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development: Accelerate revenue and margin growth by partnering with North American customers; shape and execute strategic sales initiatives and promotional campaigns with measurable results.
Expand Market Reach: Identify and capture new business opportunities through channel development, OEM account expansion, and customer acquisition. Launch Garrett’s new service model for large-frame turbochargers in the marine, energy, and genset sectors in North America.
Deliver Actionable Market Intelligence: Provide data-driven forecasts and insights to key stakeholders to fuel smarter decisions and sharper strategies.
Strategic Account Management
Set and Drive Customer Objectives: Define annual targets and development plans for key accounts; lead commercial interactions to align with growth strategy.
Customer Advocacy & Satisfaction: Coordinate globally on customer issues and monitor performance against supplier metrics; lead cross-functional resolution efforts.
Ensure Seamless Operational Execution: Partner with Customer Support to guarantee accurate and timely delivery of turbocharger parts with high service levels.
Deliver on Financial Commitments: Own achievement of Annual Operating Plan targets, including sales forecasts, gross margin goals, and accounts receivable performance.
Marketing
Amplify Brand and Sales Impact: Collaborate with Marketing to craft campaigns that elevate brand presence and drive sales across segments.
Lead Strategic Event Engagement: Represent Garrett at distributor and industry events to deepen relationships and visibility.
Drive New Product Introductions: Support go-to-market strategies and promotions for new turbocharger products.
Basic Qualifications
University Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business/commercial discipline
Minimum of 10 years in commercial leadership roles with:
Strong track record in sales development with dealers and distributors
Omni-channel experience preferred within automotive aftermarket
Experience in automotive aftermarket industry preferred
Experience in international, multicultural, and complex matrix organizations
Accomplishments include:
Developed and implemented Channel Development strategies across markets/verticals
Led distribution network expansion with value proposition and market potential analysis
Developed network performance and dealer training/merchandising initiatives
Additional Desired Qualifications
Strategic, analytical, customer management, and negotiation skills
Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments
Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Proven track record in commercial roles with customer relationship management

Pay Range The salary range for this role is between $102,700 and $140,000. Note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade; starting pay may vary based on factors such as education, training, and experience.
