Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) - Houston, TX Oil and Gas Job Summary: Lead and execute electrical engineering across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while collaborating with teams and guiding electrical designers. Responsibilities: Develop electrical design and RFQ packages, ensuring on-time client delivery. Apply NEC, API, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA standards. Perform power system studies (arc flash, load flow, short circuit) using ETAP and SKM. Create electrical design deliverables, including one-line diagrams, schematics, grounding plans, area classification, and cable schedules. Review equipment specs and installation requirements. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project goals. Ensure compliance with client needs and safety standards. Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering

or related field. PE License, Texas 4+ years of experience

in electrical engineering. Expertise in

medium/low voltage systems, motor starters, VFDs, and transformers . Experience with

instrumentation and control systems

is a plus. Proficiency in

Excel

and strong

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills . Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license
