Overview Join our NC&E EHS team as Regional EHS Manager. You will drive safety and improve results for regional delivery and supplier organizations. You will own all aspects of suppliers’ EHS within your region and report to the Regional Director. You will implement strategic initiatives that support the company’s business strategies and OHS activities relating to our supplier community, helping build a stronger safety culture and drive continuous improvement with sustainable results. About this opportunity We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the NC&E EHS team, to drive safety and improve results for our regional delivery and supplier organizations. The Regional EHS Manager will own all aspects of suppliers’ EHS within the region and report directly to the Regional Director. They will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that support the company’s overall business strategies and OHS activities relating to our supplier community. All related activities will help build on the company’s safety culture and help drive continuous improvement and increase supplier involvement with sustainable results. Your passion will play a pivotal role in shaping our supplier EHS landscape and delivering transformational services to our customers. What you will do Collaborate with all levels of the region to understand EHS risks, recommend corrective measures, and create strategic plans for continual improvement pertaining to our suppliers. Utilize metrics, leading and lagging indicators, and knowledge of ANSI A10.48, ISO 45001/14001 program implementation to drive improvement across the region. Proactively influence the region’s ability to utilize data and trends related to EHS or ISO compliance, strengthening the EHS Management System and overall EHS culture. Manage incident investigations, ensure thorough root cause analysis, and provide coaching for continual improvement. Understand environmental aspects and impacts related to regional operations and work closely with suppliers and contractors to enhance performance and compliance, including High Hazard Work Program, OHS Maturity Assessments, and pre-job EHS reviews. Create and update Risk and Opportunity Assessments within area of responsibility, and lead and influence suppliers on continual ownership and development of program ownership. Promote, support, and proactively review Job Safety (Hazard) Analysis reports, safety permits and safety plans within the region. Assist in coordinating meetings within the region for field leadership, and suppliers as needed. Compile and communicate EHS topics. Ensure documentation of attendance per requirements. Conduct and participate in regional safety committee meetings with suppliers to ensure effective training and communication, to assist in building strong relationships. Conduct onsite and remote safety audits to meet required level of oversight. Guide customers to be passionate about EHS, drive simplification of tools and systems for efficiency, interface with regulatory officials, utilize recognition programs, and benchmark with other companies for continual improvement. Support and implement automation and AI opportunities to drive increased efficiency and execution in the field of supplier health and safety. The skills you bring Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent certifications and work experience. CSP or CHST preferred. Forward-thinking vision for continual improvement of the EHS management system, with knowledge of ISO 14001/45001, OSHA VPP, and relevance to current business climate. 4 plus years construction or telecommunications industry experience preferred. Knowledge and work history with OSHA, EPA and ANSI A10.48 regulations, including technical expertise related to role (e.g., fall protection, rigging). Ability to work independently, engage and influence multiple levels, our supplier community, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and professional writing. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $113,200-$148,575, dependent on location and candidate qualifications. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: annual bonus opportunity based on business performance and individual targets.
