Overview
The Sheriff's Department is recruiting Experienced Communications Dispatchers to dispatch and maintain continuous communication with emergency units in the field. Positions are primarily located at the Valley Control Center in Rialto and the Desert Control Center in Hesperia. Each center serves as the primary 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for its respective geographic location. Multiple vacancies exist at both locations. $2,000 HIRING BONUS (with details below) and $750 REFERRAL BONUS. Applicants must be available for all shifts; incumbents will be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings, including mandatory overtime; refusal of assigned shift may result in removal from the list or termination. Shift differential is available. Availability:
