Overview: Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to process accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple states. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands state-specific payroll regulations, and ensures compliance with all tax and labor laws. Key Responsibilities
Process biweekly/multi-cycle payroll for multistate employees. Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax laws. Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies. Partner with HR and Finance on payroll adjustments, benefits deductions, and reporting needs. Support audits and prepare payroll-related reports as needed. Qualifications
3+ years of payroll experience, including multistate processing. Working knowledge of payroll tax compliance and wage laws. Experience with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Ceridian, or Workday). Strong Excel and analytical skills. Compensation: $32-35/hour Seniority level
