The Account Director/Senior Director is a seasoned Olympic marketer who will lead the day-to-day account team and assist clients in the development and execution of Olympic marketing initiatives. This person will advise and manage strategic concept development through program execution, bringing new ideas and opportunities for consideration. The Account Director/Senior Director will regularly communicate with key client personnel and internal agency stakeholders. Interacting daily with corporate clients, properties, and multiple agencies/vendors to support sponsorship initiatives Leading daily performance of the account team, ensuring quality work, professional communications, effective process implementation, and strategic account management Assisting with sponsorship strategy, development, and implementation, including negotiating contractual partnership terms, overseeing assets and third-party vendors, internal/external communications, promotions, and onsite activation Developing sponsorship activation ideas and execution plans based on client objectives and budgets Overseeing tactical onsite sponsorship activations at high-profile sporting events, including talent booking, hospitality management, PR, client presence, relationship management, guest experiences, and property management Creating program development utilizing sponsorship assets Negotiating contracts with teams, players, and third-party vendors Providing industry insights and sponsorship/property analysis, including identifying incremental opportunities for co-promotions Leading evaluation and perspectives on new sponsorship opportunities Identifying and contacting potential marketing partners aligned with client goals Collaborating with internal divisions to develop and implement client programs Presenting to senior client and agency executives You Have These:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred but not required 8-10 years of Olympic marketing experience at an agency, client, or property Proven client and team management experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Extensive Olympic network for trend and insight sharing Proven ability to develop and implement creative marketing solutions Ability to lead marketing programs with cross-functional teams and manage high-volume client deliverables Strong relationship management skills with clients and agency divisions Leadership, problem-solving skills, and broad cultural understanding Excellent time management and communication skills Ability to travel 25% of the time, including weekends Note: The salary range is indicative based on local market conditions. The minimum is $68,640 annually; the maximum is currently unspecified. About Us
