Health and Human Resources Specialist, Senior - Bureau for Behavioral Health - Kanawha Co.
Nature of Work This position provides oversight for the State Opioid Response grant procedures, ensuring that relevant laws, policies, and regulations are being followed. Serves as a resource for staff of SOR-Grant funded programs for fiscal and programmatic compliance matters. Prepares and/or reviews information and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Write, edit, and contribute to SOR grantee monitoring policy and procedure manuals. Lead preparation for external monitoring visits, reviews, audits, and conducts cross-site evaluations in coordination with other program area staff. Monitor subrecipient compliance with Federal regulation and the requirements of their subrecipient agreements through site visits, audits, and other mechanisms applicable to subrecipient monitoring. Recommends actions necessary to resolve issues/concerns. Other related duties as needed. Note:

Bachelor\'s Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university. Substitution:
Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis. Experience:
Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment. Substitution:
Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience. Three (3) years:
