JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator will provide essential support to the Human Resources team, focusing on employment eligibility verification and HR data management. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations related to I-9 processing, E-Verify, and employment verification systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in maintaining accurate employee records while collaborating with cross-functional HR and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Form I-9 documentation for all new hires in compliance with USCIS and federal regulations. Manage E-Verify submissions, resolve tentative non-confirmations (TNCs), and ensure timely follow-up. Utilize Equifax Workforce Solutions for employment verification, unemployment claims, and other HR-related services. Support onboarding and offboarding processes by collecting documents, updating systems, and communicating with employees. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS, ensuring data integrity across all platforms. Assist with audits and reporting related to employment eligibility and verification. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Compliance teams for smooth HR operations. Partner with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and local administrative teams to ensure completion of verification activities. Respond to employee inquiries regarding verification processes and documentation. Stay updated on employment verification laws, regulations, and best practices. Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a coordinator or specialist role. Proven hands-on experience with I-9 and E-Verify processes. Familiarity with Equifax Workforce Solutions or similar employment verification systems. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and recordkeeping skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP). Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Experience supporting HR audits or compliance reviews. Bilingual skills are a plus.
