Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

Provide technical support to end‑users via email, phone, and in‑person.

Act as a subject matter expert in personal computing and customer support.

Troubleshoot basic computer, peripheral, and related software and hardware issues.

Document detailed and accurate technical notes for each issue and steps taken to resolve it.

Keep management apprised of any potential issues or risks identified.

Perform laptop/desktop deployments, break/fix, printer/fax deployments, patch management, Active Directory support, VPN account setup, desktop security, antivirus, and other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Education & Qualification

– Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related technical field plus 3 years of related IT experience.

Work Experience

– 1 year of experience providing technical and customer support.

Technical Skills

– Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows 10/11, PC hardware, desktop and mobile phones, SCCM, endpoint configuration management, deployment scripts (VB, PowerShell), Active Directory, VPN, desktop security, antivirus.

Behavioral Skills

– Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational and time‑management skills, ability to handle user complaints professionally, attention to detail, stress management.

Desirable

– Microsoft SCCM, ServiceNow, Office 365, PowerShell, Active Directory, networking, CompTIA A+/Network+, remote support experience, VPN troubleshooting, Microsoft certifications.
