Cyber SDC - OT Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect – Senior – Consulting
Location: Anywhere in Country Overview
As an OT Defects Senior Architecture & Governance professional, you will provide operational support for overall issue management and defect creation, monitoring, and tracking within the client’s OT environment. You will ensure OT architectures align with organizational goals, promote secure operations, and meet industry‑wide compliance standards. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑function teams to secure OT systems and drive continuous improvement through structured governance and defect management. Support the OT manager with defects/issues tracking, architecture oversight, and approvals for OT systems, VLANs, and controls. Review and validate OT system designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Maintain and evolve governance frameworks, SOPs, and documentation. Support change review boards and architecture decision forums. Lead defect intake, triage, and remediation cycles; track and report progress. Facilitate weekly defect review meetings and ensure timely follow‑ups with stakeholders. Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues. Communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical audiences. Identify gaps in documentation and propose updates; contribute to standard work and lean process improvements. Establish governance frameworks and best practices for OT architecture and design processes. Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes to OT systems. Stay current with emerging OT trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
Experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments and governance. Experience with end‑to‑end issue management and defect resolution. Strong familiarity with manufacturing, shopfloor, and OT safety/quality considerations. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443). Ability to apply frameworks to OT environments and defect processes. Proficiency with ServiceNow, AuditBoard, and defect intake workflows. Risk‑based mindset focused on remediation, migration planning, and tracking. Soft Skills
Analytical problem‑solving and effective communication. Leadership of programs / projects and cross‑functional collaboration. Precision in defect tracking, remediation, and documentation of architecture standards. Ability to lead calls with Product Owners and client stakeholders and articulate review reasoning. Benefits
Competitive base salary range: $77,500–$140,900 (US). Salary ranges vary by geographic location. Comprehensive medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off.
